Sunnydaze Two-Tier Pineapple Solar-on-Demand Fountain, Rust Finish, 46 Inch Tall
Add a charming focal point and the soothing sounds of flowing water to your outdoor space with the Sunnydaze Two-Tier Pineapple Fountain! This 46" tall tiered pineapple fountain features the convenience of solar-on-demand technology for a winning combination of modern technology meets classic decor. Powered by solar energy, the fountain costs little to nothing to run, requires no wiring and is designed as a self-sustaining outdoor fountain, with water continuously pumped through the pineapple.
This solar on-demand fountain runs in direct sunlight, but has a battery unit as well which will power the fountain on overcast or cloudy days. On the solar powered mode, the fountain will run directly from solar energy; however, the pump will only work in bright and sunny conditions. On the battery mode, you can power your fountain for up to four hours on cloudy days or at night. A fully charged battery will power the fountain up to four hours. To run on battery mode simply press the Battery On/Off button. The battery will now power the pump. When the battery power is depleted, the system will automatically change back to solar powered mode and start again when there is sufficient sunlight. You can operate the fountain daily using the battery technology for consistent performance even in cloudy conditions, or leave your fountain off, charging the batteries for use when you want it.
The rust color finish gives it a rich patina and makes it a versatile option for any garden, patio or yard. Durably-made from polyresin material, it'll give you years of use. For a wonderful combination of cost-effective solar energy, consistent performance and a striking visual touch, the Sunnydaze Two-Tier Pineapple Solar-On-Demand Foundation is sure to please.
*Color can vary slightly on each fountain. Lighting can be different indoors and out as well as differences in computer monitor lighting. Some fountains may appear darker because of lighting conditions. Therefore, slight color variation is not a cause for return.
*Please note fountains should always be emptied and covered, or emptied and brought indoors before freezing weather occurs.

Dry Run Protection Pump Technology:Typical pumps continue to run when the fountain is low on water or runs dry causing the pump to burn out and need to be replaced. This fountain includes new dry run protection technology so if the fountain runs low on water the pump will automatically shut off to save the life of your pump.
The Battery Pack:The lifespan of a battery generally lasts between 12-18 months, but with repeated charges and discharge cycles the battery capacity may reduce. You can try to boost charge the battery by leaving it off for 2-3 sunny days to allow maximum charge. If the boost charge does not help the battery than you will need to replace it. Open the battery cover on the back of the solar panel and replace the batteries with 4 standard "AA" rechargeablebatteries.
For an additional purchase, an electric battery charger is also available. If there are several cloudy days in a row where the solar panel cannot recharge the batteries fully, you can unplug the solar panel, bring it inside, and plug it into a standard outlet with this battery charger to recharge the batteries.

I wanted a Water Fountain for a long time but electrical connection was the biggest problem since we don't have an outside plug near the place where I wanted to place the fountain. The idea of a solar powered fountain did not convince me at first, because we have outdoor lights and other appliances that work with solar energy and honestly are not one hundred percent efficient and sometimes it is a headache more than a pleasure. We decided to give the Serenity Health Solar Water Fountain a try because of customer’s review. Price was reasonable and the look was great, also perfect size for our yard. Package arrived on time and in perfect conditions. Assembly was easy and my husband set it up in about 15 minutes. I was in love the minute I saw it standing. It looks exactly as advertised. We fill it with water and to my surprise it started to pump water immediately. Wow, it was perfect! Now, let’s talk about the Cons. We live in a windy location so we had to place the fountain in a planter because it is not stable or heavy enough to support the wind. The base is not big enough. The pineapple works perfectly, however the water in the second fountain doesn’t not fall evenly due to some imperfections in the design, so you have to sacrifice the water in the back in order to see it in the front. We have the Fountain for about a month and so far is working perfectly. The switch from Solar to batteries and vice versa, works as advertised which is a plus because you don’t have to be doing this back and forth. Our neighborhood birds love the fountain too. We have seen hummingbirds’ everyday taking baths on the top of pineapple and also we have blue jays visiting our yard more often. So far our Water Fountain is a great addition to our back yard and I hope the solar panel continues working without problems.
We have gone through 3 outdoor fountains in four years. The common denominator being the solar charger was always built into the fountain. This one is not. It has a very generous-in-length cord attached to the solar charger. You can direct the charger all throughout the day! But what is truly amazing is the switch from battery power to solar power - it does it on its own! So I start off the morning by turning on the fountain and powering it with the solar battery that stores its power. Then when the sun hits the charging panel, it switches over to solar power and is charging the batteries at the same time! The fountain also looks amazing. I bought the rust colored one. It has a rough finish, so flotsam and jetsam don't seem to stick to it as much. But you still need to clean it. The neighborhood birds enjoy it, so it's not too loud or scary for them. And it sounds pretty darn good. When it's nice and charged or the sun is beaming down on it, the fountain makes a relaxing flowing sound. You have to keep it pretty full. If you notice your fountain isn't flowing with a lot of force and the basin is low - low seems to be half full (or empty, depending on your perspective) - then put some water in it. It needs to be pretty full to flow through the pineapple top. You will enjoy the look and the sound and the ease of function of this fountain. Now its big test is to see, after storing it properly for the winter, how it works the next year.
