Information on Mounting your Wall Fountains

One of the most commonly asked questions by customers searching for wall fountains is How do I hang my wall fountain?  This is a fear of many and really, we want to make it as easy as possible for you.  Typically a wall fountain, depending on what you choose, will take you anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours to install.  Usually, a contractor or handyman is not necessary to hang a wall fountain but a second set of hands is usually a must due to the size of most wall fountains. 

We offer many one piece wall mounted fountains.  This is typically done with the lightweight slate fountains and some glass face waterfalls.  One piece fountains come in many different sizes, even 6 feet wide or tall wall fountains can be constructed in one piece for easy installation.  The advantage is that you will probably spend more time researching  your wall fountain than you will hanging your wall fountain!  With the one piece and easy installation fountains you will find that you once you receive it you will simply unpackage it, hang it up, fill it up and turn it on and start enjoying the beauty of your wall fountain.  See the many easy installation wall fountains we have or view all lightweight slate wall fountains.  One side note, many people lean towards a lightweight slate fountain as opposed to its solid slate counterpart for this reason, they are easy to install.  Also, they are very lightweight on your wall so customers are more comfortable with this hanging in their living room as opposed to a 200+ pound wall hanging fountain.

Wall fountains with solid slate or marble typically involve a little more work to hang.  Not to deter you from a solid slate or marble fountain as their beauty far outweighs the little bit of installation involved.  Although they don't come in one piece, they have very detailed mounting instructions, a video and help is just a phone call away if needed!  These heavy wall fountains come with a great mounting bracket that is simply hung on the wall and then the fountain face wil hang right from that bracket minimizing the weight load on your wall.  Any regular studded wall or brick wall can easily hold a solid slate or marble wall fountain.  These wall fountains will come in a couple pieces, the face of the fountain and the frame pieces of the fountain and of course, your fountain pump.  Typically you need a level, screwdriver, a drill and some pliers.  You will want a second person available to lift the stone onto the bracket.  Again, although a little more work, you will thoroughly love the look of the solid stone.  See all slate wall fountains to see the beauty for yourself!
