The Sun Alarm Clock by itself works perfectly for the majority of people.  But some people need a brighter simulated sunrise to wake them up.The Controller gives you a brightness of up to 300 watts. You simply connect it to your Sun Alarm clock and to any regular lamp, with a maximum bulb wattage of 300 watts, you can wake up to a much brighter simulated sunrise from your lamp.
