Sleeptracker Pro Alarm Watch - Sleeptracker Alarm Watch - Wake up Feeling Refreshed!
Find all the information you need on the SleepTracker alarm watch. Be sure to read the brand new, in February 2009, press release and evaluation study done on the amazing Sleeptracker watch!
Why is it so hard to wake up to a normal alarm clock and feel refreshed?
Because that clock cannot detect where you are in your sleep cycle, so you are often abruptly disturbed from a deep sleep state, causing you fatigue and irritation throughout your day. The SleepTracker Pro and Sleep Tracker Alarm Watch is a unique alarm watch that tracks your sleep cycles and awakens you at just the right moment, so you wake up refreshed and alert.
How a Regular Alarm Clock Wakes You Up:
A Sleep Cycle is a continuous cycle from deep sleep to Almost-Awake moments and back to deep sleep again. Occasionally, your alarm clock may catch you at an optimal, almost-awake moment, allowing you to awaken feeling refreshed and alert. But that is rare. Usually, your alarm goes off when you are in a deeper sleep cycle, so you suddenly awaken at the wrong moment, feeling tired and groggy, and often grope for your snooze button.

How SleepTracker Wakes You Up:
SleepTracker Alarm Watch puts an end to that tired feeling. Once you set SleepTracker's window of time that you want to wake up in (such as 6:40am to 7am), it monitors your body throughout your entire sleep, and continuously looks for optimal almost-awake moments, so it can detect just the right moment to awaken you, only within that window of time that you set it for. So, you then wake up from that almost-awake state, with your body actually ready to wake up, and you feel very refreshed, alert, calm and ready for your day. Because you wear the SleepTracker on your wrist like a watch, its internal sensors can detect even the most subtle physical signals from your body. SleepTracker finds your best waking moments, so that waking up has never been easier.

What is an "Almost-Awake" Moment?
Almost-Awake moments occur throughout a night's sleep. Usually these moments happen close to REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. When you are almost awake, you may move around or turn to look at the clock, but then you usually drift quickly back to sleep. You probably won't even remember having been awake. Almost-Awake moments are very brief, usually lasting less than 20 seconds.
Who is SleepTracker Good For?
SleepTracker is ideal for anyone who wants to wake up alert and ready for their day in an energetic manner. This includes frequent travelers across time zones, business people looking for that extra edge, students with fluctuating schedules, busy moms who need to wake up easily and refreshed, having the energy to take care of their families, and for ANYONE who wants to wake up feeling refreshed, energetic, calm and alert Every Day.
It's A Digital Wrist Watch:
You wear it like any other wrist watch. In fact, besides using SleepTracker for its main purpose, as an amazing wake-up device, you can certainly wear it all day long as your regular wrist watch. If you do that, you can take advantage of the alarm features during the day, such as setting it to awaken you from a nap, or to signal the end of a meeting or a lunch break, or for any purpose you desire.
Very EASY To Use and Operate:
SleepTracker has only a few function modes and 4 buttons that help you navigate through and within those function modes. It's all very easy to use and operate.
A Back-Lit Digital Display:
SleepTracker has a large, very clear digital display that shows the day, the date and the current time, down to seconds. You can also press the GLO button to light up the display.
Sleep Tracker Alarm Setting:
In the alarm mode, you simply set the actual time you wish to wake up, such as 7am.
Alarm WINDOW Setting:
This is the Window of time you set, so that SleepTracker knows to awaken you at the FIRST Almost-Awake moment within this Window. So, let's say you set the Alarm for 7am, and you set the Alarm Window for 20. That means that you've set a 20-minute window of time, starting at 6:40am, for SleepTracker to awaken you. So, it will awaken you at the First Almost-Awake moment between 6:40am and 7am. On occasion, depending upon how deeply or how restlessly you've slept that night, SleepTracker may not find an Almost-Awake moment within that window. It is rare, but it can happen. If it does, it will definitely awaken you at your exact set alarm time, in this case 7am. The longer your window is, the better chance SleepTracker has for detecting an Almost-Awake moment. The recommended Window is 20 (minutes), but many people like to set their window at 30. It is up to you, and it's something you will want to experiment with.
Snooze Button:
When SleepTracker awakens you at the first Almost-Awake moment within your Window, you can press the Snooze button for some extra sleep. That duration of time is the difference between your set alarm time and when SleepTracker actually awakens you. So, let's say you set a 20-minute window, with an alarm setting of 7am. That means that SleepTracker will awaken you at the first Almost-Awake moment between 6:40am and 7am. Let's say it finds the first Almost-Awake moment at 6:48am. It will trigger the alarm to awaken you. If you press the Snooze button, you will have 12 minutes before the alarm goes off again, at 7am.
The Alarm Sound:
The alarm sound is small beeping sound that is definitely loud enough to awaken you, but not so loud and intrusive that it would disturb other people nearby. Also, since SleepTracker is waking you up at the optimum moment, when you are almost awake and ready to wake up, you will hear the alarm sound right away, and be able to shut it off right away. It works beautifully.
The "To-Bed" Setting:
Setting this feature allows SleepTracker to record your sleep data during the night so you can learn about your unique sleep patterns. To accurately record your data, set the To-Bed setting for 30 minutes AFTER you anticipate being asleep. So, let's say you go to bed at 11pm, and you decide to read for a while before going to sleep. If you think you may fall asleep by 11:30pm, then set your To-Bed Setting for 12 midnight. If you stay awake later than your To-Bed setting, then the recorded data will not be accurate until you are fully asleep. SleepTracker can collect data for a maximum of 8 hours. IMPORTANT - Even if you fall asleep after your To-Bed setting, it will not affect SleepTracker's ability to find your optimal waking moment within your Window of time that you set it for.
Data Review Mode - Reviewing Your Sleep Data:
SleepTracker records and stores your Almost-Awake moments for one day, so in this data review mode, you can discover how many times you were almost awake during a night and the average time between those moments. Everyone's sleep patterns are different. Almost-Awake moments may be frequent or occasional, sporadic or regular. If you track SleepTracker's recorded data for a few nights to establish your personal baseline, you can compare nights to find out how restless each night's sleep was relative to other nights. The MORE Almost-Awake moments you have, based on your individual norm, the less restful your night's sleep.
Water Resistant:
SleepTracker is Water Resistant up to 60 ft below the surface.
High Quality Stylish Watch Band: Relatively thin, stylish watch band made of durable yet comfortable rubber, very much like what you find with many high quality Sports watches. It is comfortable to wear and is long lasting.
Instruction Booklet:
SleepTracker Pro and SleepTracker come with a comprehensive, easy-to-understand instruction booklet that takes you, step by step, through all the mode settings and features.
Warranty:
You get a 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty for any potential defect repairs. If anything goes wrong with your SleepTracker (very rare), you need to contact the manufacturer.
About The Battery:
The battery generally lasts at least one year. When the screen display starts to look weak, you know it is time to change the battery. Also, if the watch starts to automatically set itself back to 12:00, then that is an indication of a weak battery, and it is time to get it changed. SleepTracker uses a CR-2032 battery size.
IMPORTANT - When it's time to replace the battery, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you have it done by either sending it to the SleepTracker manufacturer or by a qualified watch technician in your local area. Improper replacement of the battery may damage the watch and void your manufacturer's warranty.
