After purchasing a fountain pump that was touted by you to conform to the specifications given prior to the sale, and finding out upon installation several weeks later that this pump was inadequate (too small) to handle the job, you offered me a heavier-duty pump for just the difference in price + shipping. The results were acceptable. This was the first time in literally years that I now have the correct pump for the job - a 6-foot rise from the bottom of the fountain cistern to a sealed bowl, where a 6-inch diameter marble sphere rests on a water-bearing surface when the pump is engaged. The ball now rotates freely upon a thin film of pressurized water - exactly as the intended performance of the fountain dictated. I designed my own control system with a 110VAC relay, two 1-ampere water level switches having no more than an inch of sensitivity (ON VS OFF), and an electric valve taken from an old dishwasher. The system engaged the pump when the high water switch indicates cistern-FULL, while disengaging water flow into the cistern to accommodate the natural evaporation process. Additionally, it protects the pump from overheating when the low water switch indicates cistern-empty.

Just amazing! A really superior product in every respect, plus customer service was outstanding as well. A tremendously satisfying shopping experience from beginning to end! I had never installed a fountain pump in my life! I tracked down what I hoped would be the right size and pumping power for a 4-foot tall stone fountain. It came with two nozzles, and the one I needed quite didn't fit the base of the pump, so I called customer service and spoke with "Chuck", I believe, who immediately shipped me the correct nozzle, which fit perfectly. I then had to cut the pump's power cord in order to fit it through the water-tight opening at the bottom of our fountain. Then, of course, I had to go out and buy and attach a new three-pronged plug... No big deal. Then I set (estimated) the water flow opening on the side of the pump, plugged it in, and-- Bingo! A perfect, elegant little fountain that looks and functions like it's been in our classic, California Spanish courtyard for last century or so! Great work, Serenity Health; great product, too!
