The DeckProtect pad will protect any wood or combustible surface from extreme heat generated by portable Fire Pits and Chiminea’s.  Simply slide the DeckProtect pad under your fire pit and enjoy the fire without the worry of damage to your deck.  Please Note: The DeckProtect Pad is meant to go between the legs of your pit, not under the legs.  When measuring your firepit you should measure the space you have between the legs.

This pad is a unique product that is layered with carbon filler. It is fire proof from radiant heat that a chiminea or fire pit produces. The heat that radiates from a fire pit is on average 1,000 to 1,200 degrees. DeckProtect has been tested at these temperatures and will withstand 1,400 degrees for an extended period of time without damage. Purchase a combo with the pad and metal rack or just the pad.  The rack lifts the pad of the deck and allows air to flow through so moisture does not get trapped under the pad.  The metal rack also provides a sturdy base for the mat.
