Creating A Garden Renaissance With A Garden Fountain

Everyone dreams of a lush, beautiful, quiet backyard. A place where we can escape with a book, visit with family and friends or even relax in a hammock or lounger and let yourself get lost, if even for 10 minutes. Because we are not all so fortunate with our outdoor space, there are still things we can do to add peace and serenity to our backyard to create this great escape.

You can bring a garden fountain to your backyard for a very low cost and enjoy the sounds of flowing water while you sit and relax. Selecting just the right fountain can be a bit overwhelming. Some of the types you will find are garden wall fountains, tiered ceramic fountains, stone-like fountains or solar fountains and solar birdbaths. Below are some great outdoor fountains I have found.

Solar Fountains and Solar Birdbaths have been very popular. People like them because there is no need for an outlet, which isn't always convenient in the middle of a yard. These solar fountains and birdbaths run on solar energy via a solar panel that can be placed up to 10 feet away from the actual fountain. They come in many great colors and finishes from Terracotta, Mosaic or Rustic Terracotta, Blue, Green and Copper. The only downside for some is that you must have sun or a bright enough day for them to work. So for those areas that are gloomy or get a lot rain you don't get the joy of the soothing water sounds. However, your birds will still love it as a birdbath. For around $120 - $180 you can add one of these great fountains to your backyard.

If you have a good spot to hang a fountain you can add that old world feel to your backyard, garden or green house with the perfect hanging fountain. These wonderful garden fountains can be used indoors as well to bring the outdoor sound of flowing water into your home. A couple of the most popular of these garden wall fountains are the El Leon Fountain and the Corinthian Wall Fountain. The El Leon fountain is a timeless theme of the protective lion. One of my personal favorites in these Renaissance style fountains is the Vineyard Wall Fountain. Boasting abundance and a full life with its sculpted grape vines this wall fountain looks spectacular mounted on a wall indoors or out. These outdoor wall fountains are easy to mount, are lightweight, and have a sandstone finish that will bring you many years of joy and serenity. There are many styles to choose for $150 - $249.

Another great idea for your yard or landscaped areas are the fiberglass, rock-like fountains. These great fountains are meant to look like real stone but are lightweight and easy to assemble, move and clean. They come in many different shapes and have beautiful flowing water sounds.
