Description
The Country Gardens 2-Tier Solar-on Demand Fountain and Birdbath is made from lightweight resin with a weathered stone finish. The two turtles sit on the bowl's edge. Using state of the art solar panel and solar pump technology, power is supplied to the fountain from natural outdoor sun and light. The solar panel is built in, residing in the water basin itself. The 6 volt solar pump in the bottom of the basin, beneath the built-in solar panel, continuously circulates the water up through the center spout, creating water movement and gentle babbling water sounds over both tiers. The birds love it, and so will you. This fountain includes everything you need, is self contained and needs no installation. It will give you many years of soothing joy.
Unlike most solar fountains that only work when the sun is out, you can enjoy the Country Gardens 2-Tier Solar-on Demand Fountain and Birdbath at your leisure. The solar-on-demand allows you to choose when you want your fountain on using the easy on/off switch on the solar panel. You can operate it daily using the battery technology for consistent performance even in cloudy conditions, or leave your fountain off, charging the batteries for use when you want it, even at night. Water constantly recycles from a hidden reservoir. Battery capacity of 6 hours. Battery recharges during the day with sunlight. No wiring is required, simply install and enjoy.

This perfect fountain doubles up as a birdbath and it is so lightweight that I can move it around without the help of anybody. The provided battery is good and lasts for around 5 hours. My friends were also amazed that the unit had no wires coming out of it.

The product arrived quickly and remained intact. It's easy to put together. It looks great in my little patio. I only get sunlight half a day in my patio, so it works only for half a day in my patio. Sometimes i turn it off when theres sunlight in my patio so that i can charge the battery and turn it on later when my patio is in the shade.I wish there's an ac adaptor that I can use for this fountain, so when I want it to be running, and there's no sun out, at least I have the option of using the ac adaptor. Other that that, the sound of the fountain is soothing and relaxing! It's light so that you can move it around. On the other hand, it's easy to tip it off if you have toddlers trying to play with it. The finish is great, very elegant. Love the two turtles on it!

Purchased the Country Gardens 2-Tier Solar-on Demand as a Christmas present. Unpacked it, found all parts were there. Assembly was easy and it is a better looking fountain than I expected. But, I will not be able to put it in operation until approximately April 2011, after the frost is gone in this area,to test it. I hope it works as advertised.
