Beneath the ceramic water basin is a beautiful ceramic flower planter, where you can place soil, and grow flowers and plants.  What a beautiful accent to your deck, patio or any landscaped area of your outdoor living spaces.  The terra cotta clay is fired with a non-porous, durable glaze, making the surfaces easy to keep clean from algae and mineral deposits. The water continuously circulates through this tiered fountain, flowing up through the top tier, and cascading down all sides of each tier, into the pool of water in the ceramic basin. The waterfalls sounds are beautiful and soothing.

It can be used as an indoor fountain, or outdoor fountain. There are weep holes in the planter so if it is overfilled or has splashing watercould run down the pedestal. If you are placing it indoors you may want to add the drip pan option.
