The dove water fountain is a very pleasant addition to our patio. It sits among clam shells under an evergreen bush, and the gentle sound of water pouring from the dove's mouth, spashing on some sea and river rocks, harmonizes with the birds singing nearby.

I love this little fountain- it sits discreetly tucked under a row of red twig dogwood shrubs in a quiet corner of the garden where we like to sit. It is neither flashy nor aggressively cute. Buy it now! We bought this one here as our second one because I cracked #1 while assembling it (year 3). The epoxy worked but now we have another in storage Just In Case- this is such a pleasing a garden \'friend\' we don\'t want to be without it. We supposedly turn the solar panel over when leaving so it only operates while we are there to enjoy it. The fountain cannot be left unattended indefinitely lest the water level go too low (evaporation and splashing) for the pump to operate properly, so anyone who forgets needs to buy backup pumps....like we do. We fill the hole in back for the cord to the solar panel with plumber\'s putty (or floral clay) so the basin can be filled as high as possible. Take care to have no kinks in the hose, and keep the water reasonably clean. We wish the cord was longer to reach out of the morning shadows!

The fountain looks and works great when the sun is shinning bright. I wish the bowl were larger so you don't have to fill it so often becouse of evaporation.
