I'm using this product in my birdbath which is just a regular birdbath and not a fountain. Maybe I'm not using enough of the product because the build-up is still coming back....although maybe not as quickly. I'm hesitant to use too much of the product because I don't want to harm the birds. So all in all, the product didn't work as well as I had hoped.
