I've been using this product for the last 3 summers. Originally it cleaned my black-spotted cement birdbath, and since then, has kept it clean. The many birds who regularly bath and drink in it, and the occasional squirrel who jumps up to drink from it, are unharmed by the enzymes in this birdbath protector. All seem quite healthy and happy.

I'm using this product in my birdbath which is just a regular birdbath and not a fountain. Maybe I'm not using enough of the product because the build-up is still coming back....although maybe not as quickly. I'm hesitant to use too much of the product because I don't want to harm the birds. So all in all, the product didn't work as well as I had hoped.

I love the look & quality of the bird bath. Birds do, too. Don't know how the cleaner will work since I just put it in yesterday.
