The only place I’ve ever seen this sort of thing is in online billiard games. Never did I think that it would someday be a real-life technology that can be implemented on a normal table. Now the prototype for a product called PoolLiveAid is in the next generation of pool. This could be a huge money maker and a great leap forward for the billiard industry. I feel like the positives outweigh the obvious negative effects of people losing the actual skill to play pool.

As you can see, the projector actually marks the shots for you so you know where to shoot. It doesn’t look like the computer can compute english or spin yet but the general idea is utterly awesome.
