I purchased this extension cord to allow me to locate my Cascade Fountain solar panel in a position to take advantage of optimum sunlight. The connectors are water tight and match the pump and fountain making it a easy job to extend the cabeling.

When my pond was first installed in the garden, it was in full sun so I was able to use a solar fountain. The fountain operates by a battery linked to a solar panel. Over time, the plants and shrubs in the garden have grown and I've had to move the panel several times to ensure it stays in the sun. Finally, I reached the end of the cord connecting the battery to the panel and could no longer move the panel and use my fountain. With the purchase of the solar extension cord, I can use my fountain again! The additional ten feet of cord allows me to move the panel around the garden and into the sun once more. The cord works perfectly and was an inexpensive, easy solution to my probem. Thanks!

The cord I purchased worked perfectly for extending the solar panel up to my roof top so I can enjoy my fountain more often than not since the sun originally was only hitting it for a short period of time during the day usually when I was not home.
